PE Teacher: K3-8th Grade
Description
St. Anthony School is seeking a part-time P.E. Coach for the 2025-2026 school year. The P.E. Coach will report to the school Principal and is responsible for planning and implementing the instructional program for grades PreK3-8th grade and for athletic activities. The list of duties below reflects the general details considered necessary to describe the primary functions of the job identified and shall not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the job.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulating and planning all physical activities using diocesan curriculum. This includes, but is not limited to, sports activities.
- Coordinates extra-curricular sports activities with the designated parties
- Encourages and promotes a positive attitude towards both winning and losing to her/her students and assistants
- Supervises coaches and volunteer
- Is responsible for obtaining the appropriate materials and equipment to be used for instructional activities
- Honors and adheres to the code and directives of the Parochial Sports League of the Diocese of Corpus Christi
- Attends in-services, workshops, and other school/parish events as instructed by the Principal
- Performs other duties as instructed by the Principal
- Performs all other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum qualifications for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Prior coaching experience preferred
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must have effective skills in technology
- Must submit to employment required screenings including a criminal history background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening
- Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office of Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources
- Position requires adherence to Diocesan policies and procedures.
Special knowledge and skills include:

Elementary Teacher
Position Description
St. Anthony School is seeking a full time, Elementary Teachers for the 2025-2026 academic year. The desired applicant will be able to provide engaging instruction, possess a high level of content mastery, can collaborate well with colleagues, and can inspire students to be lifelong learners.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The teacher will form the whole child-spiritually, intellectually, socially, morally, and physically in a Christ-centered environment. The teacher will be able to provide engaging instruction, possess a high level of content knowledge and model all to achieve success. Effective classroom management is essential.
- As an integral part of the ministry for the Church, this position will support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic ministry and the mission of the Diocese of Corpus Christi in both professional and personal life
- Acts as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teachings of the Catholic Church

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, valid state certification, or the equivalent, as specified by the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department and the Diocese of Corpus Christi. Non-Catholic teachers are required to have a knowledge of the Catholic faith and support the goals of Catholic tradition in education.
Additional Qualifications:
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening including criminal history background check, motor vehicle record review (MVR), and drug screening
- Certification in Safe Environment training provided by the Office for Safe Environment and Child & Family Resources is required
- Must adhere to all Diocesan policies and procedures throughout the entire employment period
